Promoting Health Across Our Communities

We conducted health check-ups and hygiene education programs for local students, while also extending similar services to the wider community. In collaboration with fellow contractors and led by our in-house medical professional, Dr. Sandra, the initiative also included the distribution of Sembako.

Peduli Lingkungan

We implement sustainable practices across our operations, including waste segregation, recycling, and dedicated wastewater management systems. Our tree planting initiatives further reinforce our commitment to preserving and restoring the environment.

Health Talk & Mini MCU

We conducted a health seminar at our Head Office focused on hypertension and diabetes awareness, complemented by gout and blood sugar screenings for employees. The session was led by Dr. Andrian Setiabakti, BMedSci (Hons), Sp.PD from RS EMC Alam Sutera.

Door-to-Door Safety

Our team visited nearby communities in Melak, engaging residents directly to share information about our operations and safety practices. Alongside distributing food and beverages, we fostered open conversations to build trust and reinforce our commitment to being a responsible neighbor.

Promoting Health Awareness: Employee Wellness Seminar & Screening

At our head office, we believe that a safe workplace starts with a healthy team. As part of our ongoing commitment to employee well-being, we recently organized a health awareness initiative focused on hypertension and diabetes—two common conditions that often develop without early warning signs.

We were pleased to invite Dr. Andrian Setiabakti, BMedSci (Hons), Sp.PD from RS EMC Alam Sutera, who led an engaging and informative seminar. Employees gained practical insights into risk factors, symptoms, and preventive measures, delivered in a clear and relatable way.

To support early detection, we also provided free health screenings for all head office employees. This included blood tests to measure key indicators such as blood sugar and uric acid (gout) levels—helping individuals better understand their current health condition.

Beyond awareness, the session emphasized simple, actionable steps to maintain long-term health:

  • Managing Blood Sugar (Diabetes):
Maintain a balanced diet, reduce sugar and refined carbohydrate intake, stay physically active, and monitor blood sugar levels regularly.
  • Controlling Blood Pressure (Hypertension):
Reduce salt intake, manage stress, exercise consistently, and maintain a healthy weight.
  • Preventing Gout (Uric Acid):
Limit high-purine foods (such as organ meats and certain seafood), stay well-hydrated, and moderate alcohol consumption.

These small but consistent habits can significantly reduce long-term health risks and improve overall quality of life.

Through initiatives like this, we aim not only to support our employees through access to healthcare, but also to empower them with knowledge. Because taking care of our people goes beyond the workplace—it starts with awareness, prevention, and everyday choices.

Bringing Safety Closer to Home: “Door-to-Door Safety” in Melak

In Melak, our operations are closely connected to the surrounding communities—and we believe maintaining a strong, respectful relationship with them is essential to how we operate.
Through our “Door-to-Door Safety” program, our team visited nearby villages, going house to house to engage directly with residents. Rather than formal sessions, these visits were built on simple, genuine interactions at people’s doorsteps.

During each visit, we shared food and beverages as a small gesture of appreciation, along with easy-to-understand information about our operations, safety practices, and our commitment to minimizing disruption to daily life. Just as importantly, we took the time to listen—creating space for open conversations, questions, and feedback from the community.
These moments of direct engagement help build trust and mutual understanding. They allow us to be more transparent about what we do, while also giving us valuable insight into the perspectives of those living around our site.

The “Door-to-Door Safety” program reflects our broader commitment to operating responsibly and being a considerate presence in Melak. For us, safety goes beyond the boundaries of our site—it extends to the well-being, comfort, and peace of mind of the communities we work alongside.

50 Years of Commitment: Closing Bulan K3 Nasional with Strength and Unity

In celebration of Bulan K3 Nasional, we proudly closed this year’s program with an energising and memorable morning of togetherness at our headquarters in Alam Sutera.

To mark the occasion, we organised a Fun Walk and Morning Aerobics session around the vicinity of our office. The event was attended by almost all headquarters staff, demonstrating our collective commitment not only to workplace safety, but also to health, wellness, and team spirit. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as employees gathered early in the morning, ready to move, connect, and celebrate.

This year’s Bulan K3 Nasional holds even greater significance for us, as 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of our company, established in 1976. Reaching this milestone is a testament to five decades of dedication, resilience, and continuous improvement. To commemorate this special achievement, we designed exclusive 50th anniversary t-shirts, proudly worn by all participants during the morning activities. The shirts symbolise our shared journey and the strong foundation that has carried us through half a century of growth.

As part of the closing ceremony, we also announced the winners of our Bulan K3 Nasional Virtual Run Competition. The competition encouraged employees to stay active and prioritise their health throughout the month, reinforcing the core principles of K3: safety, health, and wellbeing. Congratulations to all participants and especially to the winners for their outstanding commitment and performance.

The event was more than just a celebration — it was a reflection of our company culture. Safety is not simply a policy; it is a value embedded in everything we do. As we look ahead to our 50th anniversary, we remain committed to fostering a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment for all employees.

Here’s to five decades of excellence — and many more years of working safely, growing stronger, and moving forward together.
