Bringing Safety Closer to Home: “Door-to-Door Safety” in Melak

In Melak, our operations are closely connected to the surrounding communities—and we believe maintaining a strong, respectful relationship with them is essential to how we operate.
Through our “Door-to-Door Safety” program, our team visited nearby villages, going house to house to engage directly with residents. Rather than formal sessions, these visits were built on simple, genuine interactions at people’s doorsteps.

During each visit, we shared food and beverages as a small gesture of appreciation, along with easy-to-understand information about our operations, safety practices, and our commitment to minimizing disruption to daily life. Just as importantly, we took the time to listen—creating space for open conversations, questions, and feedback from the community.
These moments of direct engagement help build trust and mutual understanding. They allow us to be more transparent about what we do, while also giving us valuable insight into the perspectives of those living around our site.

The “Door-to-Door Safety” program reflects our broader commitment to operating responsibly and being a considerate presence in Melak. For us, safety goes beyond the boundaries of our site—it extends to the well-being, comfort, and peace of mind of the communities we work alongside.
